世界长江、中国春节：西藏酥油茶

唐古拉山脉位于中国青藏高原的腹心区，这里广袤的冰川孕育出中国的母亲河——长江。

The Tanggula Mountains lie in the heart of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau in China, where vast glaciers nourish the Yangtze River, the mother river of China.

在漫长的岁月里，西藏人们克服了高寒、缺氧和干燥，找到人与自然和谐共生的生存之道：牦牛帐篷用来御寒，酥油茶配合着糌粑、青稞酒，用来取暖。

Over the years, Xizang people have learned to deal with the cold, low oxygen, and dry weather, finding a way to live peacefully with nature. They stay warm in yak wool tents and drink butter tea along with tsamba and barley wine to help keep the chill away.

酥油茶中的高热量和高脂肪，能够为人们提供足够的能量来抵御严寒、保持体力。所以这里的人们“宁可三日无粮，不可一日无茶”。

Butter tea is high in calories and fats, giving people enough energy to stay warm and strong. That's why “the people here can go three days without food but not even one day without tea.”

酥油茶的制作颇为繁琐，却也充满乐趣。首先，要煮好茶水，并备好加入了盐的酥油。随后，将滚烫的茶水缓缓倒入装有酥油的茶壶中，并用特制的茶杆反复抽打至茶水与酥油充分融合。最后，根据个人口味加入适量的奶渣或炒面等配料，即可享用。酥油茶的口感香醇浓郁，既有茶水的清香，又有酥油的醇厚，令人陶醉。

Making butter tea takes some work, but it's also a lot of fun. First, boil tea and prepare some butter mixed with salt. Next, slowly pour the boiling water into a teapot that has butter in it. and whip it with a special stick until the tea and butter mix well. Finally, add milk curds or roasted flour based on your preference, and enjoy your drink. Butter tea has a rich and mellow flavor, combining the tea's aroma with the butter’s creaminess. It's truly enjoyable.

酥油茶里的酥油，产自青藏高原；茶，则主要使用来自四川盆地的砖茶。一壶酥油茶，见证了长江流域地区之间的交流、文化之间的互动，以及民族之间的团结。

The butter in butter tea comes from the Qinghai- Xizang Plateau, and the tea mostly uses brick tea from the Sichuan Basin. A pot of butter tea represents the exchanges, cultural interactions, and unity among ethnic groups along the Yangtze River.

递上一杯酥油茶，是热情好客的藏族人民待客的最高礼仪。在藏族家庭中，酥油茶壶总是煨在火塘之上，随时为家人与客人提供温暖的慰藉。遇上藏历年和春节，酥油茶更是被赋予了更多仪式感和庆祝意义。人们围坐一起享受酥油茶，一声声“扎西德勒”，就是“吉祥如意”美好祝愿，祝愿亲朋好友福寿延年、幸福绵长。

Serving a cup of butter tea is a prime way for Xizang people to show warmth and hospitality when they have guests. In Xizang homes, the butter tea kettle is always on fire,ready to offer warmth and comfort to family members and guests. During Xizang’s Losar and the Spring Festival, butter tea becomes even more special and festive. People gather together, enjoy butter tea, wish each other “Tashi Delek”, which means “good luck and happiness”, and pray for longevity and joy for their friends and family.
