在大江大湖之畔，全新建设的军运会历史上首个军运村拔地而起，敞开胸襟迎接四海宾朋、五洲来客。

CWG's inaugural athletes' village is rising up in Wuhan, the city of great rivers and lakes, and getting ready to welcome guests from all over the world.

世界军人，武汉家园。武汉军运村位于武汉市黄家湖畔，设计师从中国“制扇王国”的传统文化中吸取灵感，建筑风格凸显荆楚文化风韵，匠心打造梅、兰、竹、菊、荷等五大景观园林。

World Military, Wuhan Home. The Athletes' Village in Wuhan is located on the bank of Huangjiahu Lake. The designers draw inspiration from the traditional culture of China, the Kingdom of Fan, to construct the architecture complex full of Jingchu style and ingeniously create five themed landscape gardens - Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, Chrysanthemum, and Lotus.

军运村按照功能分为居住区、公共区、后勤区、运行区四个区域。

The Athletes' Village is divided into four areas according to functions, namely Residential Zone, Public Zone, Logistics Zone and Operational Zone.

居住区主要提供居住及商业两项服务功能，由30栋公寓和5200多平方米商业街组成，每套公寓设4到7个床位，可满足万名运动员的居住要求，人均居住面积25㎡；赛时期间，为入住人员提供三星级标准客房服务。

Residential Zone serves two functions: dwelling and commercial service. It is comprised of 30 apartment buildings and a commercial street of over 5,200㎡. As each apartment has 4 to 7 beds, it can accommodate nearly 10,000 athletes with per capita living area of 25㎡. Three-star standard service will be offered for its residents during the games.

公共区主要提供代表团抵离服务和运动员往返各竞赛场馆的交通服务，是运动员进出整个军运村的窗口，也是交通枢纽。建设有2个停车场，并设有交通指挥分中心。

Public Zone: It is a passageway to the athletes' village and a transportation hub where services upon arrival and departure and commuting services between the village and competition venues are provided. There are two parking lots and the Transportation Command Sub-center is set here.

后勤区包括餐厅、物资仓库等，餐厅设2个，运动员餐厅可供4500人同时用餐，工作人员餐厅可同时满足2500人就餐；对餐厅食品实施全过程监管，以确保食品安全。

Logistics Zone: This area includes such components as canteens and material storage rooms. There are two canteens, one being able to accommodate 4,500 people simultaneously and the other 2,500 staff at the same time; The food of the canteen is under strict supervision in all facets and food safety is guaranteed.

运行区主要设置村委会、升旗广场、医疗中心、会议中心、健身中心、后勤保障中心等功能场所，主要为赛时军运村正常运转提供保障服务。

Operational Zone: The area includes the village administration committee, flag-raising square, medical center, conference center, fitness center and logistics support center, which provide supporting services for the normal operation of the village during the event.

“节俭办赛、赛后利用”是军运村的显著特点。整个军运村建设全部采用市场化模式运作，赛时满足运动员食宿行需求。赛后，运动员公寓将作为商品房向市场发售；运行区建筑设施转化为小区配套的幼儿园、小学、中学等公建设施；信息化设备将用于江夏“智慧城市”建设；临时建筑的运动员餐厅可拆解为工业厂房。

Economy and post-event reuse is a distinctive characteristic of the village. It adopts a market-oriented operation model and it meets the demand of all athletes interms of accommodation, food and transportation in games. After the event, the condos will be open for sale to the market; the operational zone will be transformed into public infrastructures such as primary and secondary schools and kindergartens; the information technology facilities and equipment will be relocated to Jiangxia District for building a "SmartCity"; and the canteens will be disassembled into industrial factories.

聚焦军运盛会，世界幸会武汉。武汉军运村，将全力以赴，为把第七届世界军运会办成一届精彩非凡的国际体育盛会贡献力量。

The great event is drawing worldwide attention, and global visitors will cluster to Wuhan. The Athletes' Village will go all out to make the 7th CISM Military World Games a remarkable international sports event.
